It’s the last day of September, aka my Birthday Month, which means you have one more moment to wish me Happy Birthday before I forget to return the favor on your Facebook wall. I was merely a tween when the pandemic began, and now I’m edging thirty.
Because my brain is essentially a shriveled raisin now, I am choosing to not do research this month. Instead, here is a collection of things I just now created: fake news (fake noots?) (rip _fake_nudes_).
… … …
Don’t Think So Hard, September ‘21 - Cool crap I’ll be listening to this season.
beep beep - These are the songs I run to, as it is now ideal running weather. Unfortunately mostly songs you’d hear on TikTok (i.e. Doja’s entire discography).
the millennium can have a beer now - So much great new stuff this month, eat it UP!

Deb Never, Where Have All The Flowers Gone: Hands down one of my favorite new artists of the year. This EP sounds exactly how emotional unavailability/unrequited love feels. Not that I would know! Ha.
Yebba, Dawn: Hard to believe this is her DEBUT album, a full five years after this viral moment in music history. First of all, Yebba looks amazing and is finally getting the attention she deserves? Second of all, I would argue she is like the American Adele except maybe even better?? Third of all, no one can outdo her riffs, they are inhuman???
Priya Ragu, damnshestamil: Truly stumbled across this gem and am even more enamored after reading more about her story as a Swiss-Sri Lankan 35 year-old R&B artist who just released her debut album. One to watch ~ nothing but bops.
